The Borussia Dortmund midfielder would be a superb addition for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will surely be looking to bolster his central midfield ranks this summer, having lost Mousa Dembele to China in January and with Victor Wanyama facing an uncertain future in north London.
Quite how much money the Argentine will have to spend, however, remains to be seen, what with their expensive move to their new stadium.
He might just have to be thrifty in his player recruitment at Spurs this summer, and there might be a fantastic opportunity waiting out there for him.
According to a report from the Sun, Borussia Dortmund midfield ace Julian Weigl is available for just £22 million this summer, and Tottenham quite simply cannot afford to miss out on the Germany international.
The 23-year-old is a deep-lying midfielder by trade, and he excels when breaking up the opposition’s play.
Weigl is also an exceptional passer of the football and is very comfortable in possession – two attributes that make him ideally suited to Poch’s setup at Tottenham.

The Germany international is vastly experienced, despite his tender years, and he would bring real top class competition to the central midfield department at Spurs.
He has plenty of energy, and would more than help fill the void left behind by Dembele.
And for just £22 million, Tottenham must snap Dortmund’s hand of for the German ace this summer.
