Tottenham have an opportunity to be brave this evening.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has an opportunity to be brave this evening and hand 17-year-old whizkid Oliver Skipp his first team debut as a starter.
Skipp has been part of the Tottenham first team squad for the past month since Luke Amos went down with injury, and he trained with the first team ahead of the away game against PSV.
Last time out he ended up featuring for the under-19s rather than being involved, but this time an injury to Mousa Dembele could force manager Mauricio Pochettino’s hand.
Tottenham’s midfield options are more depleted than usual and a night under the lights at Wembley against PSV is a dream scenario for the teenager to make a name for himself.

Skipp starred in pre-season against top tier teams and recently received glowing praise in The Mail’s Secret Scout column, which tipped him for an imminent first team breakthrough.
A start for Skipp may be overly optimistic, but it would be the perfect way for Mauricio Pochettino to spearhead Tottenham’s Champions League revival.
Pochettino’s Spurs have been reinvigorated with academy players time and time again. Calling on Skipp in a big game would be one way of sticking to this philosophy.
