The Cherries ace may miss out on the Premier League game against Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs on Saturday.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has admitted that midfielder David Brooks is a doubt for the Tottenham Hotspur clash in the Premier League on Saturday, as per the club’s official website.
Spurs are to face the Cherries at the Vitality Stadium in the day’s early kickoff, with proceedings getting under way at 12:30pm.
The pressure is off Bournemouth for the remaining two games of the season as they sit 11 points clear of the bottom three and could finish the campaign as high as 11th in the table.
Meanwhile, Tottenham still have work to do to secure a top four place, with Arsenal and Manchester United still capable of leapfrogging them into the Champions League spots.
The Bournemouth game also comes either side of Tottenham’s Champions League semi-final legs, with Ajax currently leading Mauricio Pochettino’s side 1-0 after the first leg.

Nonetheless, Howe will no doubt want to finish as high up the table as possible and, with seven goals and five assists from 30 games, plus 90-minute appearances in each of Bournemouth’s last six league games, Brooks’s absence would be missed.
The 21-year-old burst onto the scene with Sheffield United, earning himself a £10.2million move to the Premier League last summer, and is now valued by Transfermarkt at £18million, and has also made 10 appearances for Wales despite his young age.
Dan Gosling, Adam Smith and Dominic Solanke also face fitness tests ahead of the Spurs game, while Lewis Cook, Charlie Daniels, Simon Francis, Diego Rico, Junior Stanislas and Andrew Surman remain out.
