Mauricio Pochettino has refused to rule his side out of the Premier League title race.
Spurs took all three points against Burnley yesterday, a result which took them to within 10 points of league leaders Chelsea, and Mauricio Pochettino told reporters that his side are not out of the title race yet, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
Tottenham face a couple of tricky away games back-to-back, against Southampton and Watford respectively, before they host the Blues at White Hart Lane on January 4th, in a game that could potentially define their season.

The north London outfit have now won three of their last four league outings, and have recovered well from a six-week period which saw them receive heavy criticism for their lack of invention in the attacking third.
With Harry Kane back in the side now, and Dele Alli finding some of his best form again, things are looking up for the Lilywhites, and Pochettino spoke to reporters about his side’s chances in the Premier League title race, as quoted by the Evening Standard:
“Are Chelsea out of sight? No, it’s true that we have a 10-point gap with Chelsea. But in football anything can happen. There are lot of games to play. Not only because last season was a similar gap with Leicester, eight or nine points in that period. I think our position is good. Now we are winning games, keeping the gap now a little bit closer to second position.”

Pochettino’s men will have to ensure they keep winning games, however, with their London rivals Chelsea currently emanating a sense of invincibility.
The two sides meet at White Hart Lane on January 4th, and the outcome of that game could have a huge bearing on the eventual destination of the Premier League trophy.
