Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino comments on criticisms regarding Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Kane and Alli are two of the best players in the current Tottenham side and are two of the most important members of the England national football team.
However, the striker and the midfielder have been criticised by rival fans, with the former even mocked on the FA’s Twitter page for a recent disappointing performance.
Spurs manager Pochettino has said that he finds it strange that 24-year-old Kane and 22-year-old Alli are criticised.

Pochettino told ESPN: “[The criticism] is a little bit strange from my point of view. Both Harry and Dele are massive talents and they are going to defend the England national team shirt.
“But I think the people love Harry Kane and Dele Alli. It is in fashion sometimes to boo or criticise [players] like this but I think people love them but it is true sometimes we magnify the situation and we create an issue when really there is not an issue.
“But yes, sometimes [the criticism] is difficult to understand. Like it was so difficult to understand this tweet from the FA after the game of course.”

Encouragement and support
As reported by ESPN, Alli is perceived by some to dive and has been booed at away grounds in the Premier League, while Kane was made fun of for claiming Tottenham’s second goal against Stoke City in the Premier League match.
The two players, though, should be encouraged and supported, as they are the hopes and the futures of the England national football team, who need players like Kane and Alli to progress and win major trophies in the coming years.
