The Tottenham Hotspur manager takes his team to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United tomorrow.

The Argentine criticised the Portuguese manager in his new book for the manner in which he interacted with Eric Dier when Tottenham faced United at Old Trafford lasts season, suggesting that he over-stepped the mark.

The Lilywhites’ boss down played any talk of a rift between the pair, however, when speaking to reporters during his pre-match press conference, insisting that he shares a good relationship with the Red Devils coach, as quoted by Football.London:
“It’s a thing that is in the past and I was honest in the book. My relationship with him is very good, we’re in contact. That is only describing one, small situation which is not to put in the headline on the newspaper. There’s nothing wrong, I only describe a situation that happened in the past. It’s not an issue.”

Spurs head to Old Trafford tomorrow knowing that a win will take them to second position in the Premier League table, although their chances of doing that suffered a major blow today when Pochettino admitted that Harry Kane is not fit enough to make the squad.
Tottenham have plenty of options in forward areas though, and Pochettino will be relishing the opportunity to prove Pep Guardiola wrong after his famous ‘Harry Kane team’ jibe.
