Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino laughed off rumours linking him with the manager’s job at Barcelona, claiming that he would never manage the club due his his links with Espanyol, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
A report from the Daily Star last week claimed the the Argentine is top of the Catalan giant’s wishlist to replace Luis Enrique, whenever his time in charge at the Nou Camp comes to an end.

Pochettino was appointed as manager at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2014, and his stock has risen within the game after guiding his Tottenham side to fifth and third place finishes in the Premier League.
His ability to create a squad of such high quality, on a relatively small budget, has seen him earn high acclaim, and the way in which his team plays has obviously caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
But Pochettino put Spurs fans at ease when asked by reporters about links to Barcelona.

He replied he would never manage there because he was “born with a bull in his arm”, a reference made to his time spent with Barca’s rivals Espanyol, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
The 44-year-old is slowly building something special at Tottenham, and he will surely remain at the club until he has taken them as far as he can.
