Spurs take on the Foxes in the Premier League tomorrow, in a game that will see last season’s champions take on their closest challengers for most of the campaign, and Mauricio Pochettino offered high praise for Claudio Ranieri’s men, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Leicester have failed to live up to last season’s incredibly consistent performances, and are currently sitting in 12th position in the table, after a return of just three wins from nine league games thus far.
Tottenham, on the other hand, have continued to show the fine form that saw them end the 2015/16 season eventually disappointed with a third place finish in the league.

Pochettino spoke to the press ahead if his side’s crucial encounter with the East Midlanders, and responded to a question asking whether it’s unrealistic to consider Leicester as genuine title contenders after their poor start to the season, as quoted by tottenhamhotspurfc.com:
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri
“No, it’s not unrealistic. They have signed good players and as a team it’s normal that it’s difficult to keep the level they showed last season. Today they are involved in one competition more, the Champions League and that is difficult because you spend a lot of energy in that competition and to share with the Premier League is very tough. They are still a very good team and it will be a tough game on Saturday.”
Spurs could move to the top of the league with a win, should other results go their way, while Leicester could move as high as seventh if they manage to bring all three points back from White Hart Lane.
