Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has praised Sky Sports’ coverage of the North London derby in Football London, after they produced a video compilation of the celebrations in the dressing room.

Tottenham’s players were captured in good spirits, after beating Arsenal 2-1 last weekend.

And Mourinho was pleased to be able to re-watch the celebrations, as he felt that they weren’t over-exuberant.

“Sky did a couple of minutes of some footage of our dressing room after the game. When I watched it, I felt that was really nice. It was happiness, but was controlled,” Mourinho said.

“It was just a derby, just three important points but no reason to celebrate in a crazy way, which we didn’t.”

Tottenham’s win over Arsenal was hugely important for them, but there is no doubting that this season has not gone according to plan for Mourinho’s side.

Spurs may have won against their biggest rivals, but that can’t mask the fact that they have been in poor form for much of the campaign.

Tottenham were widely tipped to be Liverpool and Manchester City’s closest challengers when the campaign begun, but they are currently stuck in eighth place.

Spurs are now battling it out to claim a Europa League spot, with their next match coming against Newcastle United this evening.
