Jose Mourinho has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are ‘ready’ for tomorrow’s visit of West Bromwich Albion.
Spurs go into the game hoping to avoid a fourth-successive Premier League defeat.
Losing to Chelsea in midweek was Tottenham’s third loss on the spin and there’s now some pressure on the Portuguese coach.
For example, if the Lilywhites – who are ninth in the Premier League – lose to the Baggies and Liverpool win at home to Manchester City, Mourinho’s side will be 10 points adrift in the race for Champions League qualification.
And considering they were top of the Premier League before facing the Reds in December, this is quite a decline for the North Londoners who have won twice in two months.
Nonetheless, Mourinho uploaded a photo on Instagram of the dressing room at Hotspur Way, claiming that his troops are prepared for Sam Allardyce’s side.
