Tottenham Hotspur are Chelsea’s only realistic challengers for the Premier League title with nine games remaining.

Spurs boss Maurcio Pochettino spoke to reporters during his pre-match press conference, and discussed the ‘crazy’ nature of the Premier League, when responding to questions regarding his side’s chances of overhauling Chelsea at the top of the table, as quoted by popular football news website Football.London.
Tottenham closed the gap on Antonio Conte’s men to just seven points with their 2-0 win at Burnley on Saturday, whilst the Blues laboured to a 2-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
And Pochettino told reporters how anything can happen, with nine league games still remaining, highlighting the need for his players to believe in their ability during the title run-in, as quoted by Football.London:
“Yes, it’s crazy but that is football and all can happen. That’s a good lesson for all – belief is the most important thing in football – not only quality, running or being strong. Belief, faith and fight. Nothing is impossible in football and that is our idea, our philosophy.”

Next up on the agenda for the north London outfit is a trip to Wales to take on Swansea City on Wednesday night, followed by a home game against Watford on Saturday, whilst the Blues play host to Manchester City before travelling to Bournemouth.
And should the west Londoners lose against Pep Guardiola’s side, two wins for Pochettino’s men could see them close to within just one point of Chelsea before Conte’s side take on the Cherries in the 17:30 kick-off.
