Tottenham Hotspur re-signed goalkeeper Michel Vorm following the injury to Hugo Lloris before the international break.

Mauricio Pochettino has raved about Michel Vorm and stated he is the ‘face we all love’ following his return to Tottenham Hotspur this week
The 35-year-old left Spurs after their Champions League final defeat in Madrid, but it hasn’t taken him long to make a return following the long-term injury to Hugo Lloris.
France international Lloris dislocated his elbow during Spurs’ 3-0 defeat against Brighton, with the club opting to call on the services of Vorm, as reported by BBC Sport.
Following Vorm’s return, his manager had nothing but high praise for the player and stated that he will ‘need some time’ to re-adjust once again as he faces a big task in donning the gloves for the first-team.
“He arrived in a sad moment because Hugo injured but in the same way, he’s a face that we all love,” Pochettino told Football London. “The players love him and the coaching staff and the club love him. He was a player who we signed when we first arrived. He spent five and a half years with us, finished in the final of the Champions League.
“For different reasons, he wanted a new challenge or experience but it didn’t happen like that and when Hugo was injured we contacted him and he was more than kind enough to join us and help the team to turn the situation and help the team achieve what we want.
“The position is different. He’s going to need some time. It was a special situation that happened to sign him. We trust him. He was training. He needs to be on the pitch, in the goal. But I’m sure he will be ready as soon as possible, quickly.”

Whether Vorm is thrown straight into the action remains to be seen because he has not played as much during these past few months.
But if Pochettino does select him for the visit of Watford on Saturday then he’ll no doubt be tested and he will be hoping his experience helps him out.
Since Vorm left the club, Spurs have suffered a number of difficult moments and he will be hoping that his return to the side does change their fortunes around.
