Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund forward Donyell Malen as they consider more attacking options.
That’s according to SportItalia reporter Rudy Galetti, who claims that Malen to Tottenham is one to ‘keep an eye on’ heading into 2023.
Galetti claims that Malen is attracting interest from a host of clubs across Europe and Tottenham are one of them.
Galetti may be seen as a mixed source when it comes to Tottenham.
He was consistent in his reporting of Ivan Perisic to Tottenham, and had it right that Dejan Kulusevski would be joining Spurs in January.
Other claims haven’t really come off, such as Tottenham pushing to sign Miralem Pjanic and Franck Kessie being close to joining Spurs.

Tottenham target Malen has history with Arsenal
Malen, 23, was expected to be a star for Dortmund following his 2021 move from PSV Eindhoven.
Malen had racked up 55 goals in just 116 games for the Netherlands and Dortmund were very happy to take him to Germany.
Yet it just hasn’t worked for Malen in the Bundesliga, scoring just five times in 37 games and he is now being used as a winger rather than as a striker.
Tottenham may view Malen as a versatile attacker who can cover for Son Heung-min out wide and offer another option through the middle to support Harry Kane and Richarlison.
If Tottenham see some untapped potential in Malen, a move would see him return to North London.
Malen joined Arsenal from Ajax back in 2015 but he spent just two year with the Gunners.
Arsenal sold Malen to PSV Eindhoven in 2017, bringing in just £750,000 for the striker before he became a goal machine at PSV.
Arsenal looked a little silly when PSV sold Malen to Dortmund for big money and they could soon end up facing him in North London derbies.
Malen hasn’t clicked with Dortmund but Tottenham may feel that they can turn him into a star in the Premier League if this rumour is true.
