Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that an agreement to sign Cristian Romero has now been reached.
What’s the story?
TyC Sports in Argentina are reporting that Tottenham’s bid for Romero has been accepted by his club Atalanta.
Spurs will pay €50 million (£42.67m) as transfer fee and €5 million (£4.27m) in add-ons for the 23-year-old Argentina international central defender.

TalkSPORT have also reported that Tottenham’s offer for Romero has been accepted.

Pre-season training has started at Tottenham, and head coach Nuno needs to start planning ahead.
Romero did well for Atalanta during his loan spell from Juventus last season.
The youngster, who won Copa America with Argentina this summer, scored two goals and gave two assists in 31 Serie A appearances last season.
Tottenham will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table next season.
