Tim Sherwood has said on Sky Sports News (12:04pm, August 6, 2022) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur could challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.
Sherwood has said that Liverpool and Manchester City will be the two favourites for the Premier League title this season.
City won the championship last season, while the Reds came second.
Former Tottenham manager Sherwood believes that Spurs and Arsenal could challenge Liverpool and City for the title this season.
Tim Sherwood on Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur
Sherwood said on Sky Sports News (12:04pm, August 6, 2022): “I think it’s them two again, possibly Tottenham, Arsenal might have something to say about that. We know what Chelsea are going to do. I am sure they are going to buy more players.”

Title challenge or top four?
In our view, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur should start the season aiming to finish in the Premier League top four.
We do not think that the Gunners and Spurs should eye a challenge for the title.
Yes, of course, Arsenal and Tottenham should try to close the gap between themselves and Liverpool and Manchester City, but they should not aim too high right now.
Arsenal did not even end up in the top four last season, so their aim right now should be to get into the UEFA Champions League.
As for Tottenham, they should aim to end up third and close the gap on Liverpool and City.
