Tottenham Hotspur are nearing a deal to bring in Antonio Conte as their new manager with a number of signings already on his wish list.
With Nuno Espirito Santo losing his job on Monday, Tottenham are wasting no time finding a replacement.
The Telegraph report that Conte’s deal to become Tottenham manager should be done today.
Unsurprisingly, the Italian media are running wild with Conte’s imminent Tottenham move.
They already think that Conte has a list of players he wants Tottenham to sign in the January window.
Conte’s Tottenham targets profiled
According to Calciomercato, Conte wants to pull off a double raid on his former club Juventus.
Conte allegedly fancies signing both defender Matthijs de Ligt and winger Federico Chiesa in a double deal worth around €160million (£135million).
That’s split up into €70million for De Vrij and €90million for Chiesa.

De Ligt would instantly bolster Tottenham’s back line whilst Chiesa has been predicted to win the Ballon d’Or in ‘three or four years’ by Juve legend Alessio Tacchinardi.
Names like Stefan de Vrij, Marcelo Brozovic and Dusan Vlahovic are again mentioned, as is AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli.
Romagnoli is inside the final year of his contract and could be signed for just €10million (£8.5million) in January.
Romagnoli would give Conte a natural left-footed centre back for his three-man defence, whilst the price is more than reasonable for Tottenham.
