Long-term Tottenham Hotspur target Anthony Martial is open to joining another Premier League club as his Manchester United career seemingly nears its end.
That’s according to Eurosport, who claim that United are considering letting Martial leave the club.
United landed Cristiano Ronaldo last month. Add in that they still have Marcus Rashford, Edinson Cavani, Jesse Lingard, Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood, and it’s hard to see Martial fitting in.
Martial faces problem getting out of United
The problem for Martial is that United want around £40million for him.
Add in that Martial would want to match his £250,000-a-week United wages, and a January move seems difficult.
Tottenham have been long-term admirers of Martial, but would they really be in a position to sign him?

Tottenham’s long-standing interest in Martial
Tottenham opened talks to sign Martial from Monaco in 2015 – just months before his big Manchester United move.
The Daily Star noted this past summer that Tottenham were keen to bring Martial to North London now too.
One interesting line came from the Daily Mail. They claimed that Tottenham picked out Martial as a potential signing in an exchange deal if Manchester United came in for Harry Kane.
Kane ended up staying, but Tottenham do still need another attacker.
There had been talk of Nuno Espirito Santo wanting to play two strikers.
Martial working up top with Kane whilst still having Son Heung-min on the left could work, but Tottenham would have to make a big investment.
