Tottenham fancy Anthony Gordon but understand that a January move for the Everton winger will be much more difficult than in the summer.
Spurs raided Everton once over the summer as they pounced to sign striker Richarlison in a big-money move.
Yet with Lucas Moura’s time at Tottenham surely coming towards an end and Bryan Gil not yet trusted by Antonio Conte, Spurs could move for another attacker.
A winger would be ideal for Tottenham and Fabio Paratici may well look to swoop in for another Everton talent in 2023.

Tottenham fancy Anthony Gordon
Some will remember that Tottenham actually wanted a double deal for Richarlison and winger Anthony Gordon.
Everton allowed Richarlison to go but refused to sell Gordon even with Chelsea pushing hard to sign him over the summer.
The Sun reported earlier this month that Tottenham are weighing up a move to try and sign Gordon in January.
Football London now suggest that Tottenham are monitoring Gordon’s situation in the hope of a January deal.
It’s claimed that Tottenham are more likely to move in the summer as a January deal is considered to be very unlikely.
Everton look like being in a battle against relegation once again this term and are struggling going forward enough without then losing Gordon.
Tottenham are still holding out hope that a January move could be possible even if it seems hard to imagine.
Hailed as ‘very explosive’ by Rafael Benitez, Gordon has bagged three goals in 14 games this season and appears to have the potential to do much more.
The 21-year-old is quick and direct but he will need to improve his end product in order to really reach the top.
Tottenham need to add homegrown numbers and Gordon fits the bill perfectly, with Paratici looking to strike either in January or in the summer.
