Tottenham and West Ham were both linked to Benfica midfielder this summer.

Ljubomir Fejsa has signed a contract extension at Benfica, Portuguese newspaper O Jogo report.
The central midfielder was linked with a Premier League switch in the summer transfer window.

The Serbian has won 10 consecutive title winners medals at various clubs and could have brought a successful mentality to the North London side.
According to The Mirror, West Ham were also considering Fejsa as an alternative to William Carvalho late in the transfer window.
The bitter fall out with Sporting Club de Portugal means Carvalho to West Ham is a no-go in January.
Now Fejsa appears to be off the table too after penning his contract extension.
He is due to compete in the Champions League this evening as Benfica take on CSKA Moscow, and he will take on Manchester United twice later in the group stages
