West Bromwich Albion may still be heading towards relegation from the Premier League, but they produced a stirring fightback to grab a 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies had beaten Manchester United last week in a shock result, but didn’t look like repeating the trick when Danny Ings and Mohamed Salah both scored to put Liverpool 2-0 up.

However, caretaker manager Darren Moore saw his side produce a great comeback, as Jake Livermore pulled one back before Salomon Rondon snatched a last-gasp equaliser at The Hawthorns.

West Brom may still be preparing for the Championship given that they’re eight points adrift of safety, but one player may have his sights on an instant move back to the Premier League.

Striker Rondon bagged his seventh goal of the season on Saturday, and the powerful Venezuelan could be a target for top-flight clubs given that he has a £16.5million release clause in his contract according to The Telegraph.

Rondon’s performance against Liverpool certainly caught the eye, as Tottenham fans took to Twitter to suggest he should be signed as cover for Harry Kane and as a replacement for Fernando Llorente, whilst West Ham fans were also calling for the ex-Zenit St Petersburg man to be signed.

They aren’t alone though, as fans from Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester City, Liverpool and Watford all took to Twitter to suggest that their club should sign Rondon this summer, and there may well be a battle on for his signature this summer.
