Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are both interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain ace.
Spurs and United target Lucas Moura has admitted that it will be very difficult for him to remain at PSG this month, during an exclusive interview with French publication L’Equipe, opening up on how a move to England would appeal to him.
French media outlet le 10 Sport claimed that both Tottenham and the Red Devils are keen on signing the 25-year-old this month, with Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho being keen admirers of the Brazilian.
The winger has played a peripheral role in PSG’s campaign this season, following the summer arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, and a move away from the Parc des Princes might be just what he needs to breath fire back into his stuttering career.
His is incredibly talented, and has so much to offer at the very highest level.
Moura would undoubtedly help either Spurs or United improve upon the potency of their attacking play, and his latest comments will give both clubs hope of signing him this month.
“It feels the end of a story for me unfortunately. Can I stay? It will be very difficult. Manchester United? There are topics I cannot talk about. English football I like a lot, it is the most competitive championship.”
According to Le Parisien, he could be available for around €40 million (£35.2 million) and that would represent fantastic value in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market.
