The report has claimed that scouts from Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester United watched Moukoko play for Dortmund against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga last Friday.

One for the future

In our view, Youssoufa Moukoko would be a good signing for Liverpool or Tottenham Hotspur, but the Borussia Dortmund striker is a player for the future.

After all, the Germany Under-21 international striker is only 17 now.

Tottenham and Liverpool should allow the teenager to develop and improve at his own pace, if either of them do sign him in January or next summer.

Moukoko has made eight starts and six substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Dortmund so far this season.

The teenager has scored six goals and provided three assists in those matches.

Moukoko has also given one assist in six UEFA Champions League games so far this season.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is a big fan of the Dortmund teenager and was quoted as saying two years ago that he would love to play with him.

Haaland told the Bundesliga offiical website in November 2020: “I would love to play alongside him.

“I think he’s the biggest talent in the world right now. He’s 16 years and one day old, that’s amazing. He has a big career ahead of him. We’re lucky to have him.”
