Arsenal recently joined Tottenham in the race for Lucas Moura.

Lucas Moura #7 of Paris Saint-Germain is pursued by Moustapha Seck #27 of AS Roma during the second half at Comerica Park on July 19, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Lucas Moura’s impending exit from Paris Saint-Germain has left teammate Marquinhos devastated.

The Brazilian gave an emotional interview on Canal+ [via Eurosport] where he shed a tear regarding the looming departure of his compatriot.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are keen on the four-time Ligue 1 winner, with the Gunners’ interest reported by ESPN over the weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura poses for a photograph at the Camp des Loges training centre in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, west of Paris, on February 08, 2017.

Telefoot had previously reported Lucas’ desire to join Spurs, who had registered an interest in a loan deal, while PSG prefer to sell.

Marquinhos accepts his 25-year-old teammate is set to move on after being overlooked this season, but is taking it hard.

He said: “He’s a friend who has done a lot of good since my arrival in Paris. I wish for him to be happy.”

Lucas has not started a single Ligue 1 game this season despite scoring 18 goals in all competitions in 2016/17.

He is desperate to get a move and salvage his World Cup prospects, and a move to either North London club would be a smart one on his part.

The winger is available and keen to move; at this point it will come down to which club decides they want him the most.
