Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been linked with Jannik Vestergaard of Borussia Monchengladbach.
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with Jannik Vestergaard back in the summer of 2016, and it seems that the North London outfit have reignited their interest in the Denmark international central defender.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Tottenham are interested in signing Vestergaard from Borussia Monchengladbach next summer, with North London rivals Arsenal also credited with interest in the 25-year-old as a potential replacement for Per Mertesacker at the end of the season.
Inter Milan are reported to be interested in Vestergaard as well. Tuttomercatoweb.com has claimed that the Italian club are monitoring the Danish defender’s situation at the moment, and are evaluating whether to make a loan offer in the January transfer window with a view to making the deal permanent next summer.
Vestergaard is a very good central defender, and given that he is 25 years of age, the Monchengladbach star can only get better in the coming years.
This is not the first time that Tottenham have been linked with Vestergaard, though. According to a report in SportBild back in May 2016 and subsequently covered by HITC Sport, Spurs wanted to sign the defender when he was still at Werder Bremen.
