Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a £25 million deal with Brighton and Hove Albion over the signing of Yves Bissouma in the summer transfer window, according to The Times.

Tottenham to sign Yves Bissouma from Brighton

The Times are reporting this morning (8:50am) that Tottenham will pay Premier League rivals Brighton £25m for Bissouma, described by Arsenal legend Ian Wright “sensational” on Wrighty’s House Podcast in August 2021.

Spurs are reportedly confident of agreeing personal terms with the Mali international midfielder.

The report has claimed that the 25-year-old Mali international should undergo a medical at Tottenham this week.

The Times have reported that Liverpool and Arsenal wanted to sign Bissouma in the summer of 2021, while Aston Villa failed with a bid for him in January.

Exciting

In our view, Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Bissouma has been brilliant for the Seagulls in the Premier League and has proved to be a very reliable player in the middle of the park who can hold his own and also drive the team forward.

Tottenham have already signed goalkeeper Fraser Forster and winger/wing-back Ivan Perisic on free transfers this summer, and it seems that the North London club are about to make their third signing of the window.
