The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder might find it hard to establish himself as a first-team regular next season.

Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Lyon ace Tanguy Ndombele recently, with Soccer Link suggesting that Daniel Levy is trying to push through a deal to sign the £80 million-rated Frenchman.
The 22-year-old is an outstanding box-to-box midfielder, and he will be a sensational signing for Spurs, if they do in fact get a deal for him over the line this summer.
But what Tottenham player will be the biggest loser from Ndombele’s potential arrival in north London?
Victory Wnayama struggled for both form and fitness last season, and should the France international join Spurs, the Kenyan’s place in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad will be under threat.
The 27-year-old joined Tottenham from Southampton in the summer of 2016, for around £11 million, according to BBC Sport, and he has gone on to make 93 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.
Rumours surfaced last year that Spurs will be looking to sell Wanyama this summer for around £25 million, according to the Daily Mail, and should the Ndombele deal go through, the Kenya international’s future in north London will be looking bleak to say the very least.

The former Celtic midfielder has been a decent servant for Tottenham over the last few years, but the Lyon ace will undoubtedly be a big upgrade on the Kenyan, and there surely would not be too many Spurs fans who argue with that.
Wanyama, who earns £65,000 per week according to Spotrac, faces an uncertain future in north London, and he will undoubtedly be the biggest loser, if or more likely when the France international rocks up at Tottenham.
