Tottenham Hotspur destroyed Southampton yesterday.

Spurs ace Dele Alli spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s superb 5-2 win over Southampton yesterday, and although he raved about his team’s display, he shared one disappointment that he took from the game, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Tottenham were the better team from start to finish, and if anything, the 5-2 scoreline flattered the Saints, with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli dominating proceedings at Wembley.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men currently sit in fifth position in the Premier League table, just one point adrift of fourth placed Liverpool, and they seem to have well and truly put their sticky patch to bed.

Dele himself has received heavy criticism this season for his lacklustre displays, but he looked like his old self yesterday, registering two assists and a goal against the south coats outfit.
The 21-year-old spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s win over the Saints, and chose to highlight something that did not please him about the victory, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
Dele Alli
“It was a really strong performance all over the pitch – we’re disappointed to concede the goals but it was a fantastic display and every player did well.”
Next up for Dele and co is a trip to Swansea City on January 2nd, and it would take a brave man to bet against them continuing their fine run of form.
