The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was in fine form last season.

Tottenham star Moussa Sissoko sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and suggested that he is currently more confident than he ever has been, whilst sharing the reason why he knows that the Spurs fans like him as a player.
The France international joined Tottenham from Newcastle United in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed t be worth £30 million, but he initially struggled to establish himself in north London.
Sissoko, who earns £80,000 per week according to Spotrac, enjoyed a breakthrough campaign last season, however, impressing in the heart of Spurs’ midfield, and proving himself to be a vital player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
And the 29-year-old midfielder responded when asked by the club’s official website what he makes of the Tottenham fans singing his name:

“I’m very happy and proud. That means the fans like what I’m doing and like me as a player and a person. They know me well. I’ve always tried to give my best for the team, even when it wasn’t easy, always tried to focus on my job and help everyone. I’m doing well now and they are very happy for me.”
Tottenham seem to be a club on the rise, with a plethora of potential new singings being linked with a move to the north London club.
And Sissoko will undoubtedly be a key player once again for Spurs next season, as they look to end their 11-year wait for a major trophy.
