Tottenham ace Lucas Moura spoke to reporters ahead of his side’s Premier League clash with Manchester City today, and admitted that it’s been impossible to sleep since they made it through to the semi-finals of the Champions League, as quoted by Sky Sports.

The north London outfit lost 4-3 on the night at the Etihad, but qualified through the away goal rule, becoming the first ever Spurs side to make it though to the last four of Europe’s premier competition, making history in the process.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side now have to turn their focus back to domestic duties, however, with their place inside the top four far from guaranteed as things stand.

Lucas spoke to reporters and admitted that it has been hard to sleep following what was a historic night for Tottenham on Wednesday, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“It was impossible to sleep! Sometimes I think I’m dreaming, it’s difficult to believe in this moment. We celebrated in the changing room, with a crazy party, and on the bus to the airport and on the plane. We got back to London about 2am. It was impossible to sleep, I think I got about four hours, but that’s football. Football gives you that feeling.”

Tottenham will have to be at their very best today, if they are to have any chance of beating a City side who will undoubtedly be out for revenge.

And they will have to do it the hard way, with Harry Kane, Erik Lamela, Eric Dier and Moussa Sissoko all out injured and unavailable for selection.
