The Tottenham Hotspur man scored for the first time since March against West Ham last night.

Tottenham ace Heung-Min Son spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, after his side’s 3-1 Carabao Cup win over West Ham last night, and explained how he is sorry for not scoring for so long, before breaking his drought against the Hammers.
The South Korea international has been on a real barren run for Spurs, not scoring since March 11th up until last night.
Son was superb against West Ham, though, firing home two goals to help see his Tottenham side through to the quarter finals of the competition, where they will face north London rivals Arsenal next month.
The Spurs forward spoke to reporters after the game, and offered an apology to the Tottenham fans for having failed to score in nearly eight months prior to last night’s cup win, as quoted by the club’s official website:
“We’re in the next round, and finally I scored! It’s been a long time, I’ve been feeling very sorry for this. It feels really, really good to score again for this team.”
Next up for Spurs is a trip to Wolves on Saturday, and Son will be hoping for another chance to get on the scoresheet, and help his team close the gap on the league leaders.
