Tottenham Hotspur are expected to make a real push for a major trophy this season.

Tottenham ace Harry Winks spoke exclusively to the London Evening Standard today, and shared how Mauricio Pochettino does not allow his team to head into any game with fear.
Spurs have been completely transformed as a football club since Pochettino took over as manager in the summer of 2014, and they are now considered to be serious challengers for major honours both domestically and on the continent.
The north London outfit have not won a trophy since their League Cup triumph in 2008, however, so they will be desperate to change that this season.
And Tottenham star Winks offered an insight into why they have become so competitive over the past few years, when speaking exclusively to the London Evening Standard today:

“The manager doesn’t allow fear in us. We don’t go into any game beaten mentally. We go into every game knowing we can win and we can outperform them. Our mentality going into every game is to be on the front foot, press and try to win.”
Tottenham have made a decent start to their Premier League campaign, but they will need to be far more consistent this season, if they are to lift their first title since 1961.
One thing’s for certain, Pochettino’s side certainly have the ability, but whether they have they mentality needed remains to be seen.
