Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane is one of Europe’s most feared front-men.

Spurs ace Harry Kane spoke to reporters after being voted the 10th best player in Europe over the past 12 months, and insisted that he still has a long way to go if he is to have any chance fo winning the Ballon d’Or at some point in the future, as quoted by ESPN.
The 24-year-old has been in sensational form over the past three years, and has already racked up an impressive tally of 50 goals during this calendar year, but his Tottenham side have not won anything of note – something that will always hold him back with regards to winning major individual honours.
Cristiano Ronaldo recently won the award of Europe’s best player for a fifth time, equalling Lionel Messis’s record, after his Real Madrid side won both La Liga and the Champions League in 2017.

And Kane responded when asked by a reporter what he needs to do to be considered in the same bracket as the Portuguese and Argentine, as quoted by ESPN:

“It’s been a good year for me and it’s one I am happy with but my aim is always to win competitions and win the Ballon d’Or. Fifty goals this year and we will see in the last few games how many I end up with but 2018 is time to improve and get better and hopefully do more and win more as well. I think it takes winning trophies with your club: Premier Leagues, FA Cups, Champions Leagues. That’s the only way to get better and progress.”
The problem for Spurs is that the Premier League is arguably the most competitive it has been since its’ induction in 1992, so winning the league will be a tall order.
And if Tottenham once again fail to win any major honours this season, Kane could very well be tempted into leaving north London, if he truly wants to ever be crowned as Europe’s best player.
