Tottenham attacker impressed upon his return.

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela made his long awaited comeback for Argentina this week against Mexico.
Injuries have kept him out of the side for around two years, and he was overlooked for the World Cup in the summer.
In midweek he seized his opportunity for Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina, winning rave reviews.
Argentine newspaper La Nacion awarded Lamela as their man-of-the-match in the 2-0 victory.
The paper’s headline led their player by player reviews from the game with a headline which read, ‘the return of Erik Lamela, the best’.

Lamela was awarded the joint highest player rating and praised for his efforts.
La Nacion wrote: “Elegant, fast, sharp, an intelligent and lucid player to provide the penultimate pass or attack the goal. A promising return and the man of the match.”
Lamela’s return was part of a changing Argentine set up, which did not include Lionel Messi or Sergio Aguero.
Spurs teammate Juan Foyth made his debut for Argentina days earlier, with Paulo Gazzaniga coming off the bench in midweek.
Gazzaniga’s performance was also praised by La Nacion, which wrote he was a ‘pleasant revelation’ as he helped the team to keep a clean sheet.
