Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen suffers another blow.
Setback… Tottenham’s Vincent Janssen
Vincent Janssen has struggled for game time in 2017, being overlooked by club boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Even with Harry Kane out injured, Janssen was a late substitute in Tottenham’s recent home win over Southampton.
So the international break offered the Dutchman a fresh start, with manager Danny Blind remaining a big fan.
Now he has suffered an untimely setback.
Broadcaster Omroen Brabant report Janssen has been omitted from Holland’s travelling squad to face Bulgaria on Saturdya, left behind due to illness.

Janssen had missed Thursday’s training session after feeling unwell. Holland are taking no chances.
Blind has not called up a replacement, indicating they are hopeful Janssen could be available next week for the friendly with Italy.
This Saturday’s game is a World Cup qualifier, and Janssen will be gutted to miss out.
Earlier this week Blind had given Janssen his backing, suggesting he could still select the misfiring striker despite prolific form of alternative Bas Dost. Now the decision has been taken out of his hands.
