Tottenham Hotspur made history in the Champions League last night.

Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen spoke to reporters after last night’s dramatic aggregate win over Manchester City in the Champions League, and suggested that he must be the luckiest man on earth, as quoted by the club’s official website.
Spurs now have a Champions League semi-final against Ajax to look forward to, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are within touching distance of creating history.
Tottenham have already done that in a sense, considering that they have never before reached the last four of Europe’s premier competition.
Spurs deserve great credit for twice coming back from the jaws of defeat last night, as it seemed for all the world that City would be the team making their way into the semi-finals.
Eriksen spoke to reporters at full-time, and admitted that the game was like a roller-coaster, suggesting that he feels incredibly lucky having made it through to the last four with Tottenham, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“I must be the luckiest guy on the planet. I thought it was over. It was a roller-coaster, goals, goals, goals and drama everywhere.”
Tottenham face Ajax in the first-leg of the Champions League semi-final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 30th, and Eriksen and co will be hoping that lady luck continues to shine on them, as they look to reach the final for the first time in their history.
