Tottenham Hotspur's Ben Davies

Tottenham ace Ben Davies took to Instagram yesterday, updating the club’s fans on his return from injury.

The Welshman underwent a successful operation on his groin earlier this month, having played through the pain barrier for Spurs last season.

Davies joined Tottenham from Swansea City in the summer of 2014 for around £10 million, according to the Telegraph, and he has gone on to rack up 168 appearances in all competitions for the north London outfit.

The 26-year-old has been a consistent performer for Spurs over the past five years, and has always been the model professional.

And he could find himself playing more regularly next season, after Danny Rose admitted that he could leave north London this summer, as quoted by the Independent:

“I don’t know what the future holds now. I’m looking forward to a break. If I’m back at Tottenham next season, great, if I’m not – great. I’ll just have to wait and see. It’s not about regular first-team football. I know my age and I know how the club’s run in terms of if you get to a certain age they might look to ship you on.”

If Mauricio Pochettino does decide to cash in on Rose, Davies will be Tottenham’s undisputed number one left-back, so having him back fit and available for selection will be crucial.

Davies took to Instagram and updated the Tottenham fans on his fitness after having gone through surgery earlier this month…
