Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has spoken about Danny Rose’s situation.

Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to send messages about Danny Rose’s return to first-team training.
Rose, 27, enjoyed two superb seasons under Mauricio Pochettino, becoming arguably the top left back in the country having previously struggled to settle in North London.
Rose was on course for his best season last term, but then suffered a knee injury against Sunderland in January, and he hasn’t played since.

It has been a long and arduous journey back to fitness for Rose, and he even invoked the ire of Tottenham fans back in August, by telling The Sun that he wanted to leave Tottenham, and felt he was being underpaid.
Rose’s logic doesn’t quite add up; he penned a new deal in September 2016, and was then injured just four months later, meaning being disgruntled over his pay has made him a little unpopular among some fans.
After nine months out, the left back has now finally stepped up his recovery, as he was pictured in first-team training ahead of this weekend’s game against Bournemouth – though whether he is fit for that game is another matter.

Ben Davies’ form has been impressive, and Rose may struggle to get back into the team, but his return does present Pochettino with another option at left back or left wing back.
After photos of Rose in first-team training emerged on Wednesday, Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has taken to Twitter to offer his thoughts on the situation, claiming that Rose is ‘top class’ and a real asset when fit.
Roberts also urged Rose get his head down and focus, whilst not being interested in any of the speculation surrounding Rose and a possible move away from North London.
