West Ham boss David Moyes has stated that he has ‘huge respect’ for how Tottenham striker Harry Kane performs, as he told his pre-match press conference.
It was poised to Moyes that, as much as West Ham will be worried about Kane on Sunday at the London Stadium, Spurs will be equally worried about Michail Antonio, who he thinks ‘deserves a lot respect’.
The duo have been standout centre-forwards, since the start of last season, although these early stages of the new campaign haven’t gone down well for Kane.
But he did score his first Premier League goal of the campaign last week, when Spurs recorded a 3-2 win at Newcastle, and Moyes’ players are now possibly facing the England captain at the wrong time.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if both Antonio and Kane get on the scoresheet in the all-London affair, as Moyes lauded both players ahead of the game.
“Yeh, I think Michail Antonio deserves a lot of respect for the way he plays,” said Moyes. “I think all the managers will do.
“But I can only say that I have huge respect for Harry Kane, the way he conducts himself and the way he plays.
“From that point of view, we know that we are up against a top, top quality centre-forward.”

West Ham were the top dogs in London last season and they are showing signs that the same might happen again, in terms of who finishes higher in the Premier League.
Spurs are the ones leading the way, at this moment in time, but the Hammers can overtake them with a win this afternoon.
The Premier League is full of high-quality London clubs, including Brentford, who have had a strong start by picking up 12 points from their opening 11 matches.
They secured wins against both Arsenal and West Ham this term, so they will be looking to continue that run as the season draws on.
