Natasha Harding praised Nottingham Forest talent and reported Tottenham transfer target Brennan Johnson on BBC Radio Wales as Man of the Match against the Czech Republic.
Johnson caught the eye for the Dragons on Tuesday as boss Robert Page gave the 20-year-old his third international start. The forward is now establishing himself firmly in the Wales fold after breaking through in late 2020, but missed out on a place at last year’s Euro 2020.
He has made seven of nine caps over Wales’ nine games since the European championship and marked his latest with a first assist. Johnson burst down the Cardiff City Stadium right-flank to feed Rubin Colwill, who drew the score level after Tomas Soucek’s earlier opener.

Johnson had enjoyed an earlier chance to register a first assist for Wales when Will Vaulks released the forward. But he could not find fellow youngster Rabbi Matondo. Tomas Vaclik also denied the Forest star a first Dragons goal after an early second-half penetrating run.
BBC pundit in awe of ‘top-quality’ Tottenham target Brennan Johnson for Wales
Johnson has been a versatile goalscoring threat for Nottingham Forest so far this season to attract transfer interest from Tottenham. Football.london reporter Alasdair Gold has noted Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici personally scouted the City Ground star last month.

The Nottingham native could be a firm target for the Premier League side at the end of the season. He has stretched his Championship haul to 11 goals and five assists in 36 games this term since Paratici’s scouting trip. He also scored once against Leicester in the FA Cup.
While goals and assists were ultimately not on the cards on Tuesday, Johnson – who plays at striker, on the wing or in midfield – still delighted Wales women’s international Harding.

“For me, Brennan Johnson is Man of the Match, head and shoulders above [everyone],” Harding said. “His quality, everything about his game tonight. Every time he had the ball, he wanted to go forward and create something. That’s the sign of a top-quality player.”
