Daniel Sturridge has raved about Arsenal star and reported Liverpool target Bukayo Saka on Twitter while watching him in action for England against Iran at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar on Monday.
Saka starts on the right of a front-three for Arsenal, and for England against Iran today, the 21-year-old started on the right of an attacking midfield-three behind striker Harry Kane.
The 21-year-old scored two goals.
The first goal came in the 43rd minute and the second came on 62 minutes.
Forme Liverpool striker Sturridge was following the match, and he was impressed by Saka’s performance.
Interestingly, Saka has been linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The Times reported in August 2022 that Liverpool and Manchester City are monitoring the situation of Saka.
Arsenal are in talks with the English youngster over a new contract that will see his current salary of £70,000-a-week wage increase, according to the report.
The Gunners are reportedly confident of getting a deal done.
Saka has come through the Arsenal your academy and is one of the best players in Mikel Arteta’s first team.
