Ben Davies has lavished praise on to Tottenham Hotspur teammate Pedro Porro.
The Spaniard’s time at N17 has been a bit of a mixed bag, as he has shown signs of being a top right-wing back whilst also looking vulnerable defensively.
However, Ben Davies has urged those that are being critical of Pedro Porro to be patient and watch him develop at Tottenham Hotspur.
Ben Davies raves about Pedro Porro
The Sporting CP loanee is a nuisance when bombing down the right flank as his delivery, ball-striking and technique is simply excellent.
However, as was particularly the case against the likes of Leicester City and Newcastle United, his defensive performances were miles away from what should be expected from a player of his calibre.
While speaking to Football.London, Tottenham defender Ben Davies only had nice things to say about Pedro Porro.

“Pedro is still a young player. We know the intensity and scrutiny of the Premier League, you make one little mistake and it’s highlighted for the world to see.
“Look, we all know how good a player he is. We’ve seen it on the training pitch. When you iron out those mistakes, I think we’ve got a top player on our hands.”
HITC View: Tottenham may have a gem on their hands
As Tottenham left-back Ben Davies said, Pedro Porro is just 23 years old and in the grand scheme of things, he is still a relatively young player.
While in footballing terms, some might disagree, not every player around that age can be as virtually flawless as either Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe.
As a result, it is key to acknowledge that while Porro has flaws to his game, there is also plenty to be optimistic about.
Over time and under an established coach’s guidance, Spurs could have a world-beater on their hands if he strives to progress his game.
