Some Arsenal supporters have taken to Twitter to comment on reports the club have agreed to sign Pablo Mari on a permanent deal for a £14 million fee.
Mari joined Arsenal from Flamengo on loan in January.
The central defender had worked himself into Arsenal’s first-team under Mikel Arteta and started the game at Manchester City on Wednesday.

Mari, however, picked up an ankle injury which rules him out until November.
Still, according to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have gone ahead and made his spell permanent.
Taking to Twitter, some Arsenal fans are pleased with the deal.
Arsenal’s defence has been highlighted as a real area for concern following the return to Premier League action after the Covid-19 suspension.
David Luiz had a shocker in the defeat at City. The Brazilian’s poor error led to City’s opener, then he gave away a penalty and was red carded for his trouble.
Sokratis is also in his thirties, while Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi are unconvincing, meaning Arteta must take action this summer.
Mari is arguably the Gunners’ best central defender currently on their books.
The 26-year-old has the best part of his career to come and the reported figure of £14 million could turn out to be a potential bargain in the coming years.
