Aston Villa duo Tim Iroegbunam and Lamare Bogarde have joined in by praising Liverpool’s newest star, Jarell Quansah.

The 20-year-old made his Liverpool debut this season at Newcastle United, and on Wednesday night, he was handed his first start at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to beat Championship high-flyers, Leicester City, in the EFL Cup.

Jarell Quansah played the entire game and bagged himself an assist, with the hard-hitting defender then taking to Instagram to express his delight at having a ‘special night under the lights’.

Given that certain Liverpool centre-backs can’t keep themselves out of the treatment room, then it wouldn’t be a surprise if Jarell Quansah features a lot more this season.

Plus, it shouldn’t be forgotten that Jurgen Klopp’s side are also in the Europa League, so that’s another competition, added to the League Cup, for the young guns to thrive.

Nonetheless, when Liverpool’s newest star shone again, he was lauded in the comments section of his Instagram post, including from Aston Villa’s very own rising stars, Tim Iroegbunam and Lamare Bogarde.

Quansah praise

England U21 midfielder Iroegbunam called Quansah a ‘top player’, whilst Dutch youngster Bogarde told him that he is a ‘joke’ and his fellow teammate, Ben Doak added ‘showing me how it’s done’ followed up by a laughing emoji.

Tyler Morton told the defender: ‘Making it look easy mate’, as James Balagizi said he is ‘the best’.

Klopp bringing through another young Liverpool star

Whilst certain managers across the league splash the cash for fun, the man in Liverpool’s dugout continues to bring through young stars.

Yes, Klopp has also spent during his time at Anfield, but not to the level or depths of both Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Either way, whilst Liverpool didn’t want to be in the Europa League, it wouldn’t be a surprise if a few young stars emerge from that competition this season because the chances will be there.
