While results for the first team have been terrible for the past 12 months, there has been one shining light at Aston Villa: The club’s academy.

The home side’s two goals were both scored by Callum O’Hare, netting late in both halves.
O’Hare sent a message on Twitter expressing his thrill at getting on the scoresheet.
There was an unsavoury side to the game, with tensions boiling over between the teams and O’Hare described the events after the match.
Commenting on Twitter to pal and fellow Villa prospect Rushian Heburn-Murphy, O’Hare said he was targeted.
The treatment the Villa side endured made their win even more impressive, and O’Hare’s performance in particular.
