Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore have had excellent starts to the season at Hull City, but they don’t rank among the clubs top 6 players on FIFA 17.
Dieumerci Mbokani is Hull City’s best player on FIFA 17
From having just three players with gold cards on FIFA 16 ultimate team, Hull City have 13 on the 2017 edition of the game. Six of these players are rated between 79 and 76, whilst the other seven are all 75 rated.
The Tigers strengths are in goal and midfield if FIFA are to be believed, where Hull have two gold rated shot stoppers and six gold rated midfielders. The pick of the bunch however, is up front, where on-loan Congolese striker Dieumerci Mbokani has been given a 79 rating.
He and Abel Hernandez should make a very dangerous FIFA strike partnership, with Hernandez Hull’s only shiny gold ultimate team card, rated 76 overall, with 87 pace. The ratings of Sam Clucas, Moses Odubajo and Eldin Jakupovic could be deemed a tad harsh, standing at 68, 72 and 68 respectively.
Sam Clucas is just a 68 rating despite a fine start to the season
A list of Hull City’s top 6 players on the game is below:
Dieumerci Mbokani – 79
Michael Dawson – 77
Curtis Davies – 77
Abel Hernandez – 76
Markus Henriksen – 76
David Marshall – 76
FIFA must have been impressed with Hull’s late business in the transfer market, rating three of their six summer signings among their top six players. Hernandez and Odubajo are the two quickest players in the Hull City squad according to EA, followed by Andy Robertson, Adama Diomande and Dieumerci Mbokani.
Mbokani’s rating of 79 seems somewhat generous, given that it is higher than the likes of Odion Ighalo, Troy Deeney and Marcus Rashford. The Tigers have a plethora of 75 rated players, and they are listed below:
Ryan Mason – 75
Jake Livermore – 75
Robert Snodgrass – 75
Ahmed Elmohamady – 75
Tom Huddlestone – 75
Andy Robertson – 75
Allan McGregor – 75
Ryan Mason is 1 of 7 Hull City players rated 75 on FIFA 17
One player who Hull City fans may feel merits a more generous rating is Robert Snodgrass. The Scotland international has had a majestic start to the season, scoring 7 goals in 7 games for club and country; should he continue in a similar vein throughout the season he could get an midseason update.
Norwegian midfielder Markus Henriksen who scored on his debut last night has the highest shooting stats of any Hull City player, with 77 shooting, higher than that of either Abel Hernandez or Dieumerci Mbokani. Meanwhile, Tom Huddlestone ranks among the top 5 players in the entire game in terms of shot power.
