West Ham have been keen to sign free agents over the past year, snapping up Pablo Zabaleta and Patrice Evra.

This policy has attracted criticism from supporters but it is not necessarily unlikely to change.

The Hammers have already been linked with three free agent signings ahead of this summer, with the trio featuring on our list of the top 50 available players.

One of those is number 16, Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Hammers boss David Moyes worked with Fellaini at Everton and brought him to Manchester, and The Daily Mail reported in January that Westy Ham are monitoring his contract situation.

Fellaini is no closer to extending his contract at Old Trafford.

Another player on West Ham’s radar is Saint Etienne winger Jonathan Bamba, 26 on our list.

The France under-21 international is a top target for the Hammers, according to The Sun.

This season he has scored seven goals and provided four assists for the Ligue 1 side.

Scott Arfield of Burnley is tackled during the Premier League match between Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur at Turf Moor on December 23, 2017 in Burnley, England.

Another option for the Hammers is Burnley winger Scott Arfield, our number 28.

SkySports reported in January they were one of three teams monitoring Arfield, along with Brighton and Crystal Palace.

It would not be a surprise to see the Hammers revisit that interest in the summer now he is set to become available for free.
