Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has raved about his teammate and Arsenal-linked star Federico Valverde on Twitter after his performance against Barcelona in El Clasico.
Valverde, linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, helped Real Madrid to a 3-1 win against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu in La Liga on Sunday.
The 24-year-old, who can operate as a central midfielder or winger, scored in the 35th minute of El Clasico.
The Uruguay international started on the right of a front-three, and his performance impressed his Madrid teammate Kroos, who also featured in El Clasico, as you can see below.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with an ambitious move for Valverde.
Earlier this month, Defensa Central reported that Arsenal had scouts watching the Uruguayan in action for Real Madrid against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League.
While the scouts were at the game to watch Shakhtar winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, they were hugely impressed by Valverde, according to the report, which we covered here on HITC Sport.
Now, Arsenal may have interest in Valverde, but there is no way that last season’s La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Madrid are going to sell him anytime soon.
