The Owls loanee faces a fight to get into the Czech starting XI.
Sheffield Wednesday’s Daniel Pudil celebrates scoring their third goal
The European Championships in France are coming up and whilst much of the attention will be on those players who ply their trade in some of the best leagues in the world, there will be plenty of players from the Championship involved as well.
So who makes our list of the top ten players at the Euros from England’s second tier?
The likes of Wolves Dave Edwards, Derby’s Jeff Hendrick and Burnley’s Tom Heaton have all missed out – so who comes in at number eight?

Daniel Pudil – Sheffield Wednesday (on loan from Watford) and Czech Republic
Technically, this is a bit of a cheat, as Pudil has technically returned to his parent club Watford.
However, he spent the entire 2015-16 at Hillsborough and is expected to join Sheffield Wednesday permanently in the summer. As far as fans of the club are concerned, Pudil is an Owl.

Thankfully as well after a brilliant season for the Czech left-back.
The 30-year-old midfield convert played 39 of Wednesday’s Championship fixtures this season before featuring as they went down in the play-off final to Hull City.

Faces a battle getting ahead of David Limbersky or Michal Kadlec in the left-back role for his nation however, so may only feature sparingly.
