With that in mind we have taken a look at the upcoming FIFA 17 computer game to see which club has the better players according to their ratings.
Based on the ratings compiled online by Futhead, here is a breakdown of the top 10… with two players at joint number 1.

The controversial striker’s top attribute is his strength, scored at 88, which compares favourably to Olivier Giroud’s 83.

9) Willian – 85 – Chelsea
The Brazilian’s blistering pace is rated at 89, faster than Arsenal hero Alexis Sanchez.
8) Laurent Koscielny – 85 – Arsenal
The Frenchman is the top rated defender among the two teams, but after his spectacular overhead kick against Southampton, perhaps his shooting rating of just 40 is too low.
7) Santi Cazorla – 86 – Arsenal
The Arsenal maestro’s passing and dribbling are his top assets, but his pace is just 71.
6) Cesc Fabregas – 86 – Chelsea
The second Spanish playmaker rated at 86, his passing his scored at 89.
5) Alexis Sanchez – 87 – Arsenal
The prolific Chilean’s pace is scored at 86 and his dribbling at 88. His shooting is scored at 82.

Despite a disappointing real life campaign from the Belgian last season, Eden Hazard scores highly, rated 90 for his passing and 91 for pace.

Courtois edges the battle of the goalkeepers, rated by FIFA one point higher than his former teammate.
