Owen Hargreaves thinks Leeds United and David Moyes’ West Ham United have ‘too much’ and he feels they will survive relegation from the Premier League this season.
The former England midfielder thinks the duo are just ‘too good’, as he praised Javi Gracia for picking up a 1-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Southampton in his first game in charge over the weekend.
That was followed up by getting dumped out of the FA Cup by Fulham on Tuesday night, but in truth, if you ask the Yorkshire faithful, they prefer the points.

From Nottingham Forest in 13th place to the Saints sitting bottom, only Forest, Leicester City and West Ham have opted against sacking their manager this season.
In Leeds’ case, not only did they sack Jesse Marsch, but they took two weeks to bring in Gracia.
Nonetheless, when asked to share his thoughts on Leeds and West Ham’s survival chances, Owen Hargreaves is backing the duo to stay up, as he told GenerationXG (27/02/23 at 5:55 pm).
“Credit to Javi Gracia for giving the players something to work on and it came off,” said Hargreaves. “I think West Ham have too much. I worry for Bournemouth and Southampton. They are the two weakest teams in the division, talent-wise.
“Somebody needs to go on a mini-run. Anybody can beat anybody. We have seen that all season. But I think Leeds are too good and I think West Ham are too good.”

WEST HAM V LEEDS – MAY 20
Pencil it down because this could prove to be a blockbuster and division-defining game.
It will be the penultimate game of the 2022/23 Premier League season, with the Hammers then locking horns with Leicester City on the final day of the campaign.
Both clubs will be aiming to be out of danger by the time that game comes about, or else, the nerves in the stadium, around East London and Yorkshire are going to be well and truly through the roof.
